I recently stayed for a night and was impressed by how clean everything was and the big wall-mounted TV. The hot water was reliable, making showers enjoyable. The pricing was steep but expected for the area.

Good spot for a short stay

I had a decent stay for 2 nights. The beds were pretty comfy, and the staff were super nice. The location was handy, close to shops and food. Just a heads up, the cobwebs on the ceiling are kinda gross, and there was no coffee in the room, but they do have some in the lobby.

The location was perfect! So close to great restaurants and the beach. Just wish I had a microwave in the room. 🙁

motel 6-santa barbara, ca, state street is conveniently located close to Vons and Starbucks. they have friendly employees that truly made me feel welcome. the water was hot and I enjoyed the close parking to my lower floor room, which was a real bonus.

this motel exceeded my expectations during our honeymoon. the rooms were clean and surprisingly comfortable, which made our stay very enjoyable. we loved the convenient location close to amenities and the friendly staff who made us feel at home.

the air conditioning was very noisy.

The location was perfect for visiting Stearns Wharf and enjoying the beach. The pool was a nice spot to chill after exploring. Just a heads up, the rooms are pretty basic, but we were fine with that. Great choice for a fun group trip!

One downside was the lingering cigarette smell in our room, which was pretty off-putting. It would have been better if the room had been properly cleaned before our stay.

Great location! The queen room was clean and had a private bathroom, microwave, and fridge. The outdoor swimming pool was nice to relax in. Ample lighting at night made me feel safe. Staff was friendly and super helpful.

Great location, but could use some upgrades

Staying here was convenient due to the close proximity to shopping and restaurants, which made exploring Santa Barbara easy. The room was clean enough, and check-in was smooth. However, the air conditioning unit was disturbingly loud and the bedding felt quite old and worn out. Overall, it was a decent stay, but I would love to see improvements in comfort and noise levels.

Just a proper fit for a concise stay in Santa Barbara with definitely value for money. The large double shower made morning routines easy and enjoyable. Remember to ask for extra pillows right away. staff is helpful but busy.

the room was very small (felt like a studio! ). but the parking was close to my room, which was super convenient. the hot water in the shower worked great, and the staff were friendly. i appreciated the clean sheets too!
